Dear Friends,

In this last issue in the series of Bulletins on SSSIO’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic, we feature educational initiatives to better inform professionals and the public about this crisis, and the constructive SSSIO educational programmes to assist everyone.

Raising Awareness and Education on the Covid-19 pandemic

The SSSIO held an international webinar for healthcare professionals on April 11, 2020 with medical experts addressing the state-of-art management of Covid-19. On April 12, a follow-up webinar was held for the general public, titled “Facts and Myths on COVID-19: How to Serve Society during this Crisis” (see https://sathyasai.org/healthy-living/coronavirus/webinars). Further information is also available at: https://sathyasai.org/healthy-living/coronavirus

In July 2020, three doctors of the medical assistance team of the SSSIO of Brazil held a live conference about the pandemic and a follow-up session was held on prevention and medical care. Both presentations were uploaded onto YouTube.

The Sri Sathya Sai Community Centre in Iztapalapa, Mexico organized a briefing on the virus for the community.

In March 2020, medical volunteers from the SSSIO of Sri Lanka organized a Covid-19 preventive educational programme in three villages.
