During the early part of January 2019, more than 30 Sathya Sai Young Adults from four cities gathered near Almaty, for the 9th Sai Youth Conference of Kazakhstan. The theme of the conference was “Love is the Basis of Everything”. This year, the Youth Conference coincided with the celebration of Orthodox Christmas. Two short films, showcasing the international volunteer camp in Kazakhstan, were screened. Senior members of the organisation addressed the young adults about the importance of team work. Two interesting games, The Catastrophe in the Desert and Design Bureau, were organised to drive home the importance of teamwork. The young adults presented a hilarious and entertaining concert, which included songs in Kazakh and Russian languages. The Youth Conference concluded with five sporting competitions as part of Sai Olympics.
