San Manuel is a small municipality of about 52,000 residents in the Pangasinan province who lack access to good quality medical and dental facilities. On 20th January 2019, 30 SSIO volunteers including two physicians, an ophthalmologist and four dentists, travelled over three hours by road to reach the house of Ms. Antonia Soller, a kind, 91-year-old lady who graciously hosted the medical camp at her house. The volunteers served more than 345 patients at the camp and returned with a sense of gratitude for the opportunity to provide much-needed health services to those in dire need.
